What is conditional sentences?

वह सब वाक्य conditional Sentences होते हैं जो भूत ,वर्तमान और भविष्य की real और unreal situation / desire/condition की बात करते हैं।

आप सबको मालूम होगा की conditional sentence  में दो clause होते है ।

If clause

Main clause

• If clause-यहां शर्त को दिखाती है
• Main clause-यह शर्त के परिणाम को दिखाती है।

Type of conditional sentences

• Zero conditional sentences
• conditional sentences type 1
• conditional sentences type 2
• conditional sentences type 3
• Mixed conditional sentences

Zero conditional sentences

इस प्रकार के  वाक्यो में हम General Truths या Scientific Truth पर बात करते हैं जो आमतौर बात सच होती है।

structure – If/when + present simple+ object, Subject + Present simple+ object

उदाहरण – –

• अगर आप किसी चीज को ऊपर की ओर फेकते हो तो तुरंत नीचे आ जाती है ।
• If you throw anything upward, it immediately comes down.
• अगर तुम बारिश में खड़े होते तो भीग जाते ।
• If you stand in the rain, you get wet.
•  अगर तुम बर्फ को गर्म करोगे तो वहां पिघल जाएगा ।
• If you heat ice ,it melts.
• अगर वह झूठ बोलता है तो लोग उसको छोड़ देते हैं ।
• If he tells a lie, people leave him.

conditional sentences type 1

-इस तरह की वाक्यों में आपको लग सकता है कि दोनों clause simple future से बनेेंगे पर ऐसा नहीं है।

पहले वाक्य को आप present indefinite से बनाएगें और दूसरे वाक्य को future indefinite में बनाएंगे ।

structure – If +subject +Present Indefinite object ,+ subject+ future simple +object

उदाहरण – –

• अगर तुम सुनाओगे तो मैं तुम्हें यह गाना सिखाऊंगा ।
• If you sing this song ,I will teach you .
• अगर वह सब्जी लाएगा तो मैं खाना बना दूंगी ।
• If he brings the vegetables, I will cook the food .
• अगर आज बारिश होगी तो मैं बाहर नहीं जाऊंगा ।
• If it rains today ,I will not go outside.
• अगर तुम दौड़ोगे तो तुम जीत जाओगे।
• If you run, you will win .
• अगर वह गाना गाएगी तो मैं नहीं आऊंगा ।
• If she sings the song, I won’t come .
• अगर तुम मेहनत करोगे तो जीत जाओगे ।
• If you work hard ,you will win.
• अगर मैं जाऊंगा तो दोबारा वापस यहां नहीं आऊंगा ।
• If I go, I shan’t come back here .
• अगर आज बारिश हुई तो हम बाहर नहीं जा पाएंगे ।
• If it rains today, we won’t be able to go outside.
• अगर वह आएगी तो मैं उसे ₹500 दूंगा ।
• If she comes, I will give her 500 rupees.
• अगर मैं पढ़ूंगी तो क्लास में प्रथम आऊंगी ।
• If I study, I will secure first position in the class.
• अगर यह लेख आप पढ़ोगे तो conditional sentenes      बनाना सीख जाओगे ।
• If you read this article, you will be able to make conditional sentences.
• अगर तुम सीखोगे तो मैं तुम्हें पढ़ाऊंगा ।
• If you learn, I will teach you .
• अगर तुम अपनी प्रॉब्लम बताओगे तो वह solution देगा ।
• If you tell your problem, he will give  solution .
• अगर वहां चलेगा तो मैं भी उसके साथ चलूंगी
• If he goes,I will go as well .
• अगर वहां मुझसे बात करेगा तो मैं उसे सच बता दूंगी ।
• If he talks to me, I will tell him the truth.
• अगर वह ध्यान से पड़ेगा तो सीख जाएगा ।
• If he reads carefully ,he will learn all this thing .
• अगर वह मुझे Invite करेगा तो मैं उसकी पार्टी attend करूंगी |
• If he invites me, I will attend his party.

Conditional sentence  Type 2

State of being

(अगर मैं कुछ होता)

Structure– If +subject+ were+other words, subject+would+V1+ other words.

उदाहरण – –

• अगर वह नर्स होती तो मरीजों का ख्याल रखती ।
• If she were a nurse,she would take care of patients.
• अगर तुम पक्षी होते तो आकाश में ऊंचा उड़ते |
• If you were a bird, you would fly high in the sky.
• अगर वह तुम्हारा मित्र होता तो तुम्हें सूचित करता ।
• If he were your friend, he would inform you .
• अगर मैं एक डॉक्टर होता तो उसकी जान बचाता ।
• If I were a doctor, I would save his life.
• अगर वह एक एक्टर होता तो famous होता
• If he were an actor, he would be famous .
• अगर तुम मेरी जगह होती तो तुम क्या बोलती ?
• If you were at my place ,what would you say?
• अगर मैं उसकी जगह होता तो  proposal accept कर लेता।
• If I were at your place, I would accept the proposal .
• अगर वह शेर होता तो गरजता।
• If he were a lion, he would roar .
• अगर वह अविवाहित होता तो मेरा दोस्त नहीं बनता।
• If he were unmarried ,he wouldn’t be my friend .
• अगर वह मेरा दोस्त नहीं होता तो मैं उसे सबक सिखवाता ।
• If he were not my friend, I would get him taught a lesson.
• अगर तुम एक अध्यापक होते तो यहां अध्याय पढ़ाते।
• If you were a teacher ,you would teach this lesson.
• अगर तुम ऑफिस में होते तो मीटिंग attend करते ।
• If you were at office, you would attend the meeting.
• अगर वहां घर पर होता तो मेरी मदद करता ।
• If he were at home, he would help me.
• अगर तुम शिमला में होते तो अपने relative से मिलते।
• If you were at  Shimla, you would meet to your relatives.
• अगर तुम बीमार होते तो डॉक्टर से मिलते।
• IF you were ill ,you would visit the doctor.

  State of possession

Structure– If +subject+ had+other words, subject+would+V1+ other words.

• अगर मेरे पास तुम्हारा नंबर होता तो मैं तुम्हें कॉल करती ।
• If I had your mobile number ,I would call you up .
• अगर उसके पास  पैसे नही होते तो वहां अपने दोस्त को उधार देता।
• If he had not money, he would lend money to his friend.
• अगर मेरी आवाज अच्छी होती तो मैं गाना गाती ।
• If I had a sweet voice, I would sing a song.
• अगर उसके पास अच्छे कपड़े होते हैं तो वहां अपनी wedding anniversary में पहनती ।
• If she had gorgeous dresses ,she would wear it in her wedding anniversary.
• अगर उसके पास पंख होते तो वह पूरा संसार घूमता ।
• If he had wings, he would fly all over the world.
• अगर उसके पास मोबाइल होता तो वह वीडियो बनाता ।
• If he had a mobile ,he would make a video.
• अगर उसके पास बहुत सारे दोस्त होते तो तुम्हें मैसेज नहीं करता ।
• If he had a lot of friends ,he wouldn’t message you.
• अगर तुम्हारे पास मेरा नंबर होता तो तुम क्या करते?
• If you had my mobile number, what would you do?
• अगर उसके पास साड़ी होती तो वह कहां पहनती?
• If she had saree ,where would she wear?
• अगर तुम्हारे पास पैसे होते तो तुम क्या करते ?
• If you had money, what would you do?
• अगर तुम्हारे पास समय होता तो तुम अपना समय किसके साथ बिताना पसंद करते?
• If you had time ,with whom would you like to spend your time?
• अगर तुम्हारे पास उसको देने के लिए कुछ होता तो वहा क्या होता?
• If you had something to give him, what would it be?
• अगर उसके पास ब्लैक टी -शर्ट होती तो वह तुम्हें नहीं देता ।
• If he had black t-shirt ,he wouldn’t give it to you .

State of action

ऐसा होता तो वैसा होता (काल्पनिक शर्त)

structure -If + subject + V2 form + object + subject + would + V1 form + object

• अगर तुम मुझे बोलते तो मैं तुम्हारी मदद करता ।
• If you told me ,I would help you.
• अगर तुम झूठ ना बोलते तो मैं तुम्हारे साथ खड़ा होता ।
• If you didn’t tell a lie, I would stand by you .
• अगर तुमने मेहनत की होती तो हर कोई तुम्हारी तारीफ करता ।
• If you worked hard, everyone would appreciate you .
• अगर वह पढ़ता तो पास हो जाता ।
• If he Studied ,he would pass .
• अगर तुम मुझे फोन करते तो मैं तुम्हारे marriage anniversary  में आता ।
• If you called me up, I would attend your marriage anniversary.
• अगर हम समय पर पहुंचते तो हमारी बस नहीं छूटती ।
• If we reached on time, we wouldn’t miss the bus.
• अगर वह आता तो मैं सवाल करता ।
• If he came, I would ask a question .
• अगर तुम ना आते तो मैं वहां अकेले जाता ।
• If you didn’t come, I would go there alone.
• अगर मैं उसे देखती तो उसे बातें करती
• If I saw him, I would talk to him.
• अगर मुझे तुम्हारा फोन नंबर मिल जाता तो मैं तुम्हें सूचित कर देता।
• If I found /got your phone number, I would inform you.
• अगर वह अंग्रेजी सीखता तो वहां नौकरी करता ।
• If he learnt English ,he would work there.
• अगर तुम जल्दी आते तो ऐसा नहीं होता ।
• If you came earlier ,it wouldn’t happen .
• अगर मुझे पता होता तो मैं ऐसा नहीं बोलता ।
• If I came to know ,I wouldn’t say like this.
• अगर तुम उसे नहीं छेड़ते तो तुम्हें थप्पड़ नहीं मारती ।
• If you didn’t tease her ,she wouldn’t slap you.
• अगर तुम तेज दौड़ते तो प्रथम आते ।
• If you ran fast ,you would come first.
• अगर तुम सवाल करते तो अच्छा होता ।
• If you asked the question, it would be better.
• अगर मैं वहां जाता तो कुछ नया सीखता ।
• If I went there ,I would learn something new .
• अगर मैं वहां जाता तो वह मुझसे सवाल करता ।
• If I went there, he would ask question to me .
• अगर वहां मुझे नहीं बताता तो मुझे नहीं पता चलता ।
• If he didn’t tell me ,I wouldn’t come to know.
• अगर मैं ना आता तो तुम किस से सवाल करती।
• From whom would you ask this question, if I didn’t come?
• अगर तुम नहीं बोलते तो मैं उसे नहीं पीटता ।
• If you didn’t tell, I wouldn’t beat him.
• अगर तुम्हें कोई मैसेज नहीं मिलता तो तुम वहां कैसे पहुंचे होते।
• If you didn’t receive any message, how would you reach there?
• अगर मैं शर्त जीतता  तो मैं वहां पार्टी करता।
• If I won this bet, I would have a blast there.
• अगर मैं उसे देखता तो एक सवाल पूछ लेता ।
• If I saw her, I would ask her a question .
• अगर वह पूछता तो मैं बताती ।
• If he asked, I would tell him .
• अगर मैं उसके घर जाता तो उसकी किताब ले आता ।
• If I went to her home, I would bring her notebook .
• अगर वह शिरडी गया होता तो सबसे पहले साईं नाथ मंदिर जाता ।
• If he went to Shirdi ,first of all she would visit Sainath temple.
• अगर वह मुझसे झगड़ा किया होता तो मैं उससे बात नहीं करता ।
• If he quarrelled to me, I wouldn’t talk to him
• अगर वह मुझसे पूछता तो मैं उसे बता देता ।
• If he asked me, I would tell him.
• अगर मेरा फोन टूट गया होता तो मैं एक नया फोन लेता ।
• If my mobile broke ,I would buy new one .
• अगर मुझे पता चल गया होता तो मैं तुम्हें बता देता ।
• If I came to know, I would tell you .
• अगर वहां मेरे घर आता तो मैं उससे कुछ सवाल करता ।
• If he came to my home, I would ask some question to him .
• अगर वहां मेकअप करती तो भयानक दिखती ।
• If she applied makeup, she would look terrible.

Conditional sentences Type 3

State of being

structure -If + subject + had been+ object + subject + would have+ V3 form + object

उदाहरण –

• अगर वह बीमार होता तो डॉक्टर के पास गया होता
• If he had been ill ,he would have visited the doctor.
• अगर तो शिमला में होते  तो अपने रिलेटिव से मिल चुके होते ।
• If you had been at Shimla ,you would have met to your relatives.
• अगर वह घर पर होता तो मेरी मदद कर चुका होता ।
• If he had been at home ,he would have helped me.
• अगर वह मेरा दोस्त ना होता तो मैं उसे सबक सिखावा चुका होता।
• If he hadn’t been my friend, I would have got him taught a lesson.
• अगर तुम ऑफिस में होती तो मीटिंग अटेंड किए होते ।
• If you had been at office ,you would have attended the meeting.

State of possession

Structure– If +subject+ had had+other words, subject+would have+V3+ other words.

उदाहरण –

• अगर उसके पास पैसे होते तो वह अपने दोस्त की मदद किया होता ।
• If he had had money, he would have helped his friend.
• अगर मेरे पास समय होता तो मैं तुम्हें अलविदा करने के लिए आया होता।
• If I had had time ,I would have come to see you off.
• अगर मेरे पास पेन होता तो मैं उसका काम खत्म कर दिया होता ।
• If I had had a pen ,I would have completed his work.
• अगर उसके पास चाबी होती तो वह ताला खोल चुका होता ।
• If he had had key ,you would have opened the lock.
• अगर मेरे पास पंख होते तो मैं संसार की सैर कर चुका होता ।
• If I had had wings, I would have flown all over the World.
• अगर उसके पास किताब होती तो वह यहां अध्याय पर चुका होता।
• If he had had a book, he would have read this chapter.
• अगर मेरे पास नए कपड़े होते तो मैंने पार्टी में पहन लिया होता ।
• If I had had new dresses, I would have worn it at the party.
• अगर उसके पास मोबाइल होता तो वीडियो बना चुका होता।
• If he had had a mobile ,he would have made a video.

State of action

Structure– If +subject+ had V3+other words, subject+would have+V3+ other words.

अक्सर ऐसे sentence में कोई past बातें कर रहा होगा। अपने भूतकाल के किए गए कार्यों के लिए वह पश्चाताप की भावना ऐसे conditional sentences में रखते है।

(अगर ऐसे हुआ होता तो वैसा यह हो गया होता) आपको यहां sentences देख कर ही समझ आ जाएगा कि वह पश्चाताप की भावना वाले sentences है ।

उदाहरण —

• अगर  मैं teacher को सुना होता तो exam की तैयारी कर लिया होता ।
• If I had listened to teacher ,I would have prepared for the examination.
• अगर तुमने अंग्रेजी सीखी होती तो तुम्हें 2 साल पहले यहां नौकरी मिल गई होती ।
• If you had learnt English ,you would have got the job 2 years ago.
• अगर उसने तुम्हारा बोरिया बिस्तरा देखा होता तो यहां सवाल ना किया होता।
• If he had seen your bag and baggage, he wouldn’t have asked this question.
• अगर बस  miss नहीं  होती तो वह जल्दी आ गया होता ।
• If he hadn’t missed the bus, he would have reached here earlier.
• अगर तुम समय पर होते तो मैं तुमसे नहीं लड़ी होती ।
• If you had been on time, I wouldn’t have fought with you.
• अगर तुमने become English champion app इंस्टॉल कर लिया होता तो तुम अंग्रेजी सीख चुके होते।
• If you had installed Become English champion app ,you would have learnt speaking English.
• अगर वर्षा हो गई होती तो मुझे स्कूल नहीं जाना पड़ा होता ।
• If it had rained, I wouldn’t have had to go to school.
• अगर तुमने मुझे अपना नंबर दिया होता तुम मुझे उससे लेना नहीं पड़ा होता
• If you had given me your number ,I wouldn’t have had to take it from him.
• अगर उसने गलत काम नहीं किया होता तो पुलिस ने उसे गिरफ्तार नहीं की होती।
• If he hadn’t made a mistake, police wouldn’t have arrested him.
• तुमने सच बोला होता तो मैं जरूर तुम्हारी मदद किया होता ।
• If you had spoken the truth ,I would definitely have helped you.
• अगर मैंने यहां पढ़ा होता तो शायद मैं इसका जवाब दे चुका होता ।
• If I had read this, I might have given the answer .
• अगर मैंने पढ़ाई की होती तो परीक्षा में पास हो गई होती ।
• If I had studied , I would have passed in the examination .
• अगर मैंने मन लगाकर पढ़ाई की होती तो मैं इंग्लिश नेटिव स्पीकर की तरह बोल रही होती
• I had studied wholeheartedly ,I would have spoken English like a native speaker.
• अगर इतनी गर्मी नहीं होती तुम एक कप चाय लिया होता ।
• If it hadn’t been so hot ,I would have taken a cup of tea.
• तुमने अपनी परेशानी के बारे में मुझे पहले बताया होता तो मैं तुम्हारी मदद कर सकता था
• If you had told me your problem earlier, I could have helped you.
• अगर मुझे तुम्हारे इरादे पहले पता होता तो मैं तुम्हारी मदद कर सकता था ।
• If I had known your intention, I could have helped you.
• अगर मैंने तुम्हारा invitation card नहीं देखा होता तो मुझे तुम्हारे शादी के बारे में नहीं पता चला होता ।
• If I hadn’t seen your invitation card, I wouldn’t have come to know about your wedding.
• अगर मैंने तुम्हारी तस्वीर नहीं देखी होती तो मैं तुम्हें पहचान नहीं पाता ।
• If I hadn’t seen your picture,I wouldn’t have recognised you.
• अगर मैं टीचर नहीं होता तो तुम्हारी पार्टी में डांस किया होता ।
• I hadn’t been a teacher ,I would have danced in your party.
• अगर तुम माफी मांगते तो मैं तुम्हें माफ कर दिया होता।
• If you had apologized, I would have forgiven you.
• अगर उसने address बता दिया होता तो मैं उसके घर समय पर पहुंच गया होता ।
• If he had told me his address, I would have reached his home on time .
• अगर उसने यह अध्याय पढ़ लिया होता तो उसे वाकई समझ आ गया होता ।
• If he had learned this chapter ,he would have understood very well indeed .
• अगर उसे पैसे मिल गए होते तो वहा खुश  हो गया होता ।
• If he had got money , he would have been happy.
• अगर मैंने वह किताब पढ़ी होती तो मैं धाराप्रवाह इंग्लिश बोल रही होती।
• If I had learnt that book, I would have been speaking English fluently.
• अगर उसने लैपटॉप खरीदा होता तो वहां Games खेल रहा होता ।
• If he had purchased a laptop, he would have been playing games.
• अगर मुझे आगे पढ़ने की आज्ञा मिल गई होती तो मैं 4 साल से उस कॉलेज में पढ़ा रही होता
• If I had got the permission to study, I would have been teaching in that college for 4 years.

Mixed Conditional Sentences

इस तरह के वाक्य आपको थोड़ा confuse करेगे क्योंकि भूतकाल और वर्तमान को mix करके Conditional Sentences बने होते है ।

Type of Mixed conditional sentence

• fomula -23

इसमें आपको पहला वाक्य, Past  मे मिलेगा और दूसरा वाक्य past perfect में इसलिए इसका नाम ही 23 दिया गया है।

इसमें काल्पनिक बाते नही है।

(अगर वह कुछ होता, तो ऐसा करता)

Structure – If + Subject+ were + object ,Subject +would have + V3+object

उदाहरण –

• अगर मैं heart patient नहीं होता मैं भी वहां नाचा होता ।
• If I weren’t a heart patient , I would also have danced there .
• अगर मैं उसका दोस्त ना होता है तो जवाब दे दिया होता
• If i weren’t his friend, I would have given him reply.
• अगर वह मेरा गुरु होता तो मैं उनको नाराज नही किया होता।
• If he were my mentor ,I would not have disappointed him .
• अगर मैं शादीशुदा नहीं होता तो उसका प्रपोजल एक्सेप्ट कर लेता।
• If I weren’t married ,I would have accepted her proposal.
• अगर वह दुकानदार नहीं होता तो मैं उनसे कुछ नहीं खरीदा होता।
• If he weren’t a shopkeeper, I wouldn’t have purchased anything from him.
• अगर वह प्लेयर नहीं होता तो ऐसी बातें नहीं करता।
• If he weren’t a player, he would not have talked like this.
• अगर मैं डॉक्टर होता तो उसकी जान बचा लेता
• If I were a doctor ,I would have saved his life.
• अगर मैं अमीर होती तो लोगों की मदद की होती
• If I were rich, I would have helped others.
• अगर मैं lawyer होता तो उसे धमका दिया होता।
• If I were a lawyer ,I would have threaten him.
• अगर मैं टीचर होती तो यहां अध्याय पढ़ा दिया होता
• If I were a teacher, I would have taught this lesson

Type2

• Formula 32

इस तरह के वाक्यो में आप पहले वाक्य मे past perfect और दूसरे वाक्य में would + be + V4 इस्तेमल करना है।

structure – IF+ Past Perfect+ object ,subject+ would be + V4+ object

• कल मैंने सामान खरीद लिया होता तो आज मैं उसे इस्तेमल कर रही होती ।
• If I had purchased things ,I would be using it today .
• अगर मै कल  पेड़ से न टकराया होता तो आज मेरे माथे मे सुजन नही होती ।
• If I hadn’t bumped into the tree yesterday ,there wouldn’t be a bruise on my forehead today.
• अगर कल मैंने तुम्हें पैसे दे दिए होते तो आज तुम सामान खरीद रही होती ।
• If I had given money to you yesterday, you would be purchasing things today.
• अगर मैंने तुम्हारा नंबर save कर लिया होता तो मैं तुम्हें कॉल कर रही होती।
• If I had saved your number, I would be calling you.
• अगर मैंने तुम्हारी वीडियो ध्यान से देखी हुई होती तो मैं ये गलती नहीं कर रही होती ।
• If I had watched your video carefully, I wouldn’t be doing such a blunder.
• अगर मैंने ट्रैक सूट खरीद लिया होता तो आज ट्रैक सूट पहना होता ।
• If I had purchased a tracksuit yesterday ,I would be wearing the tracksuit today.
• अगर मैंने डाइट प्लान फॉलो नहीं किया होता तो आज मैं slim न होता ।
• If I hadn’t followed diet plan, I wouldn’t be slim today.
• अगर 10 साल पहले उसने ये किताब नहीं लिखी होती तो आज मैं नहीं पढ़ रही होती।
• If he hadn’t written this book 10 years ago, I wouldn’t be reading it today.
